Artistry Unhoused: Enlightenment from the Streets Opening Reception

A lack of affordable housing is a key issue facing our community, causing an increase in homelessness. “Artistry Unhoused” is meant to build a wider understanding of people who are often overlooked, misunderstood or simply unwelcome through highlighting their creative contributions. This reception and subsequent exhibit is a collaboration with Aurora, the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana, local college photography students, and most importantly, those who are homeless or recently experienced homelessness here in the Tri-State. The gallery will run from Aug. 10-28.
